Whew, this took forever...

So this is a bit like the group pic of the Simpson family from a long time ago, except this one has shading! Oh, and it's of the Coopers instead. Yeah, I got tired of waiting for a surname for Sherri and Terri. I've also given their dad the name Arnold.

I won't bother pointing out my own major suckage since no-one bothers reading my self-critique anyway. Bottom line, if you notice something odd, I already know about it.

In terms of appearance change, I know Ruth's overbite and stuff looks different from the usual. I was trying to make it like the way drew her in one of her pics I used for referance. I like it better like this way anyway.

RuthXArnold is a bit of an odd choice but honestly, there are others that are pretty strange too like RuthXHomer, RuthXFather Sean, RuthXTroy McClure. Don't get me wrong, I like those pairings but they're not any less peculiar than what I chose.

Anyway, I've talked about Sherri and Terri before so I'll briefly cover the other three. With Ruth and Laura I'll only cover what's different.

Arnold Cooper: He lived most of his life in England, but never talks much about his past and he never says anything of his first marriage in which Sherri and Terri were born however he claims that he went to America shortly after the birth of his daughters.

He's also an employee of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, never really gaining any true acceptance (mostly due to his own attitude) and spent a lot of time at odds with local boob, Homer Simpson. For some reason he was never satisfied with his position, always trying to get promoted to better positions.

He's usually rather nice if a bit cynical at times but he is also, quite frankly, an asshole in the way he treated co-workers although when they put him through so much shit most people can't blame him. Arnold is a total softy towards his little girls though.

Ever since his second marriage he's become a lot less obsessed with work, usually faking illness so he can spend more time with his daughters.

Ruth Powers: Actually, she chose not to change her name at all. She's always been Ruth Powers, good for her.

She and Arnold met, surprisingly, thanks to Homer although not by intention. Homer was trying to get her hooked up with one of his friends, it backfired pretty bad.

Thanks to having a second earner around the house she has a lot more time to spend with Laura aswell as Sherri and Terri, who adore their new sister and mom. It helps that she's rather lenient (her ex was the strict one) and is just supportive towards the three girls no matter what, even when she really shouldn't be.

She's currently off the steroids, still tends to drop by Moe's tavern as much as before but smokes quite a bit more, it's hard to tell whether she's changed for the better or worse in that regard.

She's redoubtably pleased to have a husband who's actually able to spend time with her regularly.

Laura Powers: She was actually the first to know the Coopers, she was a lifesaver on Arnolds's busier nights. Mostly because the twins used have evident mommy issues and tend not to co-operate with a lot of women in any position of authority other than teachers. Laura, on the other hand, never had much (if any) difficulty in babysitting them, mostly because she just connected really well with children and that Sherri and Terri began to see her as an older sister to them, and Laura saw them as little sisters to her but she never admitted it.

Ruth looked after the twins on occasion and got along just as well, probably because she, like Laura, wasn't strict with them and in return Sherri and Terri began to consider her to be their new mommy, or the only mommy they even know.

When Arnold and Ruth were dating Laura and the twins did a lot to help it along. With Laura giving Ruth encouragement and the twins pestering Arnold to marry Ruth.

She and her stepsisters share a rather mutual love towards eachother. She never said so but she always wanted a little sister or two.
