Yeah the shading sucks.

If you've bothered to look at my other stuff you'll probably know what my version of Maggie's like. Just go look around I don't want to have to explain everything at length...

It's pretty simple, the title explains it all.

The colours here aren't as bright as the other stuff I've come out with. It's strange that both of my actual pics that aren't filler happen to be dark looking, although the previous one is set at night.

I used two very slightly transparent layers of blend tool here. Mostly to get out of shading the background (I didn't want it to be distracting) but it looks alright in my opinion. Her expression looks good too, it's not impressive or emotional in the least and that's why it works, she's friggin' bored! I think that bracelet she's fidgeting with, although a neat touch but it looks awkward. Lastly, her cigar is too long.

The Simpons and related characters are TM and copyright FOX and related companies but you knew that already.

Um, comments please? Preferably not flames.

Wonderful! Just awesome! I LOVE how she's twiddling the bracelet; reminds me alot of myself at work. XD The cigar was certainly surprising, but given that I know what your Maggie is like, it's a pleasant one. :nod:

On second glance I think it looks better than before. It was also the first time I actually drew over a framegrab (for the background).

I'm not above messing around with various items when I've got nothing better to do either!:XD:

Hooray! Come to think of it that really long length forum conversation we had kinda died abruptly...

The background (well foreground really) effect was actually easy. The background itself took some time though.

Backgrounds always kill me! Sometimes I go crosseyed if I work too long. It's really sad. XD

Well I guess I am a semi-perfectionist. For some reason I'm never satisfied with just a plain white background.:)
